Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have returned to Kochi after a short camp in Ahmedabad ahead of the LaLiga World Tournament.
The Blasters were welcomed by tons of fans at the Kochi airport on Saturday with expectations high from the newly put together David James coached side. After a disappointing sixth place finish in ISL – Season 4, the fans expect more.
The start to the new season will be the first-ever LaLiga World Tournament taking place in India with Kerala Blasters taking on Australia’s Melbourne City FC on Juy 24, while Melbourne City face Spanish LaLiga side Girona FC on July 27, while the Kerala Blasters host Girona FC only a day later on July 28.
