Manchester United has announced the arrival of Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax Amsterdam after signing a five-year contract with an option to extend for a further year.
Donny van de Beek has been signed for a minimum fee of 39 million Euros which could se add ons.
23 year old Van de Beek came through the ranks of the Ajax youth system, making his senior debut in 2015. Experienced in European competitions, he played a key role as Ajax reached the semifinals of the 2019 UEFA Champions League and also featured in the 2017 UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United.
The Netherlands international contributed 10 goals and 11 assists in 37 games last season before the Eredivisie was curtailed.
