On Sunday afternoon the 2017/18 league season continued for my German home town football club, FC Remscheid, promoted to the Landesliga (6th division) with a home match against SC Velbert, which ended in a 2-5 loss for FCR.

In der Fußball Landesliga Gruppe 1 hatte am 33.Spieltag der FC Remscheid den SC Velbert am Sonntagnachmittag zu Gast im Röntgenstadion. Am Ende gab es eine verdiente 2-5 Niederlage für den FCR, aber der Klassenerhalt war trotzdem perfekt.
