Wolverhampton Wanderers & Kick It Out launch clothing range!

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Kick It Out have joined forces to launch an old gold clothing range which supports and raises vital funds for the charity’s mission.

Kick It Out aim to tackle discrimination and promote equality and inclusion in all sports, and linked up with sports apparel company Fanatics, who provide clothing for a number of Premier League clubs, including Wolves.

They’ve created a range featuring black hooded jackets and t-shirts with both Wolves and Kick It Out branding, available in both men’s and women’s sizes, and donning the charity’s slogan ‘Together we can change it’ on the back.

All profits of the range, which is aimed at empowering supporters, will be given directly to Kick It Out’s mission to eliminate all forms of discrimination and supporting people and communities to thrive in all sport, with Wolves making no profit.

Fanatics have designed the range, which is available at shop.wolves.co.uk as well as the Molineux Megastore, with t-shirts priced at £25 and hooded jackets at £50.

Vinny Clark, general manager for commercial operations, said: “Kick It Out do some incredible and vital work in sport and across football. As a club, we’re delighted to have joined in partnership to help raise awareness of the charity and its campaigns which align with our one pack ethos.

“We take pride in the diversity we have at our football club, amongst staff, players, supporters and participants. We’re sure our fans are going to join us in supporting Kick It Out’s campaign to make sure football is a game for everyone and spread an important message through their clothing at Molineux, around the city and further afield.

“This is the ideal chance for everyone to show passion for both Wolves and equality and inclusion in football, and we’re pleased to be part of the collaboration, and look forward to continuing our work with Kick It Out.”

Hollie Varney, chief operating officer at Kick It Out, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to offer football fans a means to showcase their pride in their team while doing their part to call out and end discrimination in sport. Being able to partner with forward-thinking clubs such as Wolves, and the support of their passionate fanbases, is key to raising awareness and support for our mission.”

Kick It Out is a registered charity formed in 1997, originally set up to fight racism in football, which has now expanded to tackle all forms of discrimination including racism, homophobia, misogyny and disablism.

Today, they also run educational programmes for academy players, parents and fans as well as campaigns to make sure football is always welcoming to everyone, supporting people to report discrimination wherever it happens, from the local park to Premier League social media.
