Champions East Bengal held by Calcutta Customs to goalless CFL draw!

Eight-time defending champions East Bengal Club were held to a goalless draw by Calcutta Customs in the Calcutta Football League – Premier Division ‘A’ at the East Bengal ground on Friday evening.

East Bengal had a tough time in the first session against a Calcutta Customs side who defended in numbers. At the end of the first half it was goalless.

East Bengal technical director Subhas Bhowmick brought on Mahmoud Al Amna and Brandon Vanlalremdika after the break which helped the red and gold to put a lot more pressure on Calcutta Customs, but in the end the elusive goal just didn’t come their way as Customs keeper Suvam Sen
