German kit maker JAKO have extended their contract with FC St. Gallen, which was announced on Sunday together with the Swiss Super League side within the framework of the home game against FC Thun at the clubs Kybunpark stadium.
JAKO founder and chairman, Rudi Sprügel, said: “We have close ties to the St. Gallen region. Among other things, our subsidiary JAKO SCHWEIZ AG is located in Rorschacherberg am Bodensee. From there it is only 20 kilometers to the stadium of FC St. Gallen. That is why it was logical nine years ago to equip the club as the first JAKO team in Switzerland. We are now extending this partnership for the third time, confirming that we want to work together successfully for many more years.”
Pascal Kesseli, CEO of FC St. Gallen Event AG, said about the long-term partnership: “We are happy to have JAKO as a loyal partner at our side and look forward to continuing the successful cooperation. This gives us planning security on the one hand. On the other hand, we appreciate the flexibility of JAKO and the associated opportunity to bring us into the design of merchandising products and, above all, our jerseys.”
Together with the club, JAKO will also jointly design an individual collection for the coming season. Christoph Rohmer from JAKO team sponsorship and promotion said, “I am looking forward to at least three more years of good cooperation in which we will quickly and reliably equip the professionals of FC St. Gallen. In close cooperation, we develop individual jerseys and fan articles, which represent the club and its history.”
