NorthEast United FC sign Uruguay striker Emiliano Alfaro for ISL-3!

NorthEast United FCIndian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have signed Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro Toscano for the third edition of the ISL.

At Montevideo-based Liverpool FC 28 year old Emiliano Alfaro played at youth level before he gained his first professional experience from 2006 onwards as a teenager. In 2010 he spend some time at CA San Lorenzo in Argentina but returned after his loan spell.

In January 2012, Emiliano Alfaro made a move to Europe and signed for Italian Serie A side Lazio Roma, but after only six months he was send to UAE Pro League side Al Wasl FC on a season long loan. Thereafter he was send to his first pro club FC Liverpool in Montevideo having his goal scoring touch back, but he would never ever again play for Lazio Roma.

He was transferred to Thai Premier League side Buriram United but due to an injury he would never play for them. Former Uruguay international Emiliano Alfaro has been out of the game for the first half of 2016, but NorthEast United Fc hope he regains his scoring touch in the ISL.
