Aspiring I-League side RoundGlass Punjab FC have announced the signing of midfielder Bikramjit Singh and striker Sumeet Passi ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Vastly experienced Punjabi midfielder Bikramjit Singh has put pen to paper on a two-year-contract.
28 year old Gurdaspur-born Bikramjit Singh started off at the Sant Baba Hazara Singh Football Academy and made it into the India youth teams, which earned him a contract to represent the AIFF Developmental Tean, the Indian Arrows.
Thereafter Bikramjit played for Churchill Brothers before joining Mohun Bagan, first on loan and then on a permanent contract. He spend time on loan in the ISL with FC Goa and Atletico de Kolkata before joining Chennaiyin FC. Thereafter Bikramjit played for Delhi Dynamos and Odisha FC before now signing for RoundGlass Punjab FC.
Bikramjit Singh said, “It is a great moment for me join RoundGlass Punjab FC. I have an emotional touch as well, as I belong to Punjab. I will give my best to the team.”
Energetic forward Sumeet Passi, who has represented India at senior level, has put pen to paper on a two-year-contract.
26 year old Sumeet Passi was born in Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) and is a product of the Chandigarh Football Academy. He made his senior debut for the Indian Arrows before playing for Sporting Clube de Goa (2014-2016), NorthEast United FC (2016/17), DSK Shivajians FC (2017, on loan), and then Jamshedpur FC (2017-20).
Sumeet Passi said, “I can’t express how excited I am. My job is to score goals and I’ll try my best to score as many as possible to help the team win the title (I-League).”
