South Korea’s Park Ji-Sung appointed to IFAB’s Football Advisory Panel!

Former South Korea international and Manchester United winger Park Ji-Sung was appointed to the International Football Association Board’s (IFAB) Football Advisory Panel (FAP) on Monday, July 24.

The FAP and the Technical Advisory Panel, which are newly introduced, aim to bring together experts from across the world of football for bi-annual meetings which will propose alterations to the Laws of the Game, recommendations for experimentation and other matters.

The former Manchester United midfielder, along with Faisal Al Dakheel, will represent the Asian Football Confederation on the panel.

Park, who is also a member of the AFC Social Responsibility Committee, retired from professional football in 2014.

He also earned a FIFA Masters last year after completing the sports management programme organised by the International Centre for Sports Studies, which is endorsed by FIFA.
