Turkey U-17 squad announced for 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India!

Turkey Under-17 head coach Mehmet Hacioglu has announced his 21-member squad for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.

The core squad consists of players from Galatasaray and Altinordu, while other players such as Germany-based Berk Çetín (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Umut Günes (VfB Stuttgart), Malik Karaahmet (Karlsruher SC) and Ahmed Kutucu (FC Schalke 04) complete the squad.

The Turkish U-17 national team is scheduled to leave for Doha on September 18 (19.35h local time) for their final preparation camp ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Turkey will play two friendly matches in Doha, before they depart from Doha to Mumbai on September 25 (20.30h local time).

Turkey will face New Zealand (October 6), Mali (October 9) and Paraguay (October 12) in Group B matches. Their group stage matches will all be played at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
