The draw for the second round of the DFB German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2020/2021 was held tonight with the draw carried out by former Germany WNT international Inka Grings, while DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth acted as the observer at the ARD studios in Cologne.
Record and defending champions Bayern Munich have to travel to Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel, while Borussia Dortmund also travel to a Bundesliga 2 side in Eintracht Braunschweig.
The top clashes would be between Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt, and VfB Stuttgart vs SC Freiburg.
The matches would be played just before Christmas on Tuesday/Wednesday, December 22/23 across the country with the smaller clubs looking to welcome their more established opponents.
